Do I need to book in advance, or can I just walk in?

While we love a spontaneous visit, Lumina operates primarily by appointment to ensure every guest receives our full, unhurried attention. We recommend booking at least 3–5 days in advance for weekdays and 1–2 weeks in advance for Saturdays. However, feel free to call us for last-minute openings—we always do our best to fit you in!

What is your cancellation and "no-show" policy?

We value our specialists’ time as much as yours. We require at least 24 hours' notice for any cancellations or rescheduling. Cancellations made within less than 24 hours, or appointments missed without notice, may be subject to a 50% service fee. This allows us to offer the slot to another client on our waiting list.

Do you cater to all hair types and textures?

Absolutely. Inclusivity is at the heart of Lumina. Our team is specifically trained and certified to work with the full spectrum of hair—from bone-straight to 4C coils. We use specialized products and techniques tailored to your specific texture to ensure the health and integrity of your hair are always protected.

Is there secure parking available at the studio?

Yes. Your peace of mind is part of the relaxation experience. We are located within a secure shopping precinct in Parkwood with 24-hour monitored parking. You can enjoy your treatment knowing your vehicle is safe and just a few steps away from our front door.

Whether it’s your first professional hot towel shave or a subtle "Executive Mani," our staff will guide you through the process so you feel entirely at ease.

Can I bring a reference photo for my hair or makeup?
