Welcome to Lumina Beauty Studio. By booking an appointment or using our services, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.
1. Appointment Bookings & Reservations
Booking Policy: Appointments can be made via our website, WhatsApp, or phone. We recommend booking in advance to secure your preferred time and specialist.
Arrival Time: We request that you arrive at least 10 minutes before your scheduled appointment to check in and relax. Late arrivals may result in a shortened service time to avoid inconveniencing the next guest, while the full service fee will still apply.
2. Cancellation & No-Show Policy
24-Hour Notice: We require at least 24 hours' notice for any cancellation or rescheduling.
Fees: Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice may incur a charge of 50% of the scheduled service cost.
No-Shows: Failure to arrive for an appointment without prior notice will result in a 100% charge of the service fee and may require pre-payment for future bookings.
3. Pricing & Payments
Quotes: All prices listed on our menu are starting prices and are subject to change based on hair length, density, or the complexity of the service. A final quote will be provided during your initial consultation.
Payment Methods: We accept Cash, EFT, and all major Debit/Credit Cards.
Refunds: We do not offer refunds on services rendered. However, if you are dissatisfied with your result, please notify us within 48 hours, and we will do our best to rectify the issue at no additional cost.
4. Health & Safety
Client Disclosure: It is the client’s responsibility to inform our staff of any allergies, skin sensitivities, or medical conditions (including pregnancy) prior to treatment.
Right to Refuse: Lumina Beauty Studio reserves the right to refuse service if a client presents with a contagious skin or scalp condition, or if their behavior is deemed inappropriate or disrespectful to our staff.
5. Personal Belongings
Lumina Beauty Studio provides secure parking within the precinct; however, the studio is not responsible for any loss or damage to personal property or vehicles while on the premises. Please keep your valuables with you at all times.
6. Protection of Personal Information (POPIA)
In accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA) of South Africa, Lumina Beauty Studio is committed to protecting your privacy. We collect your contact details solely for booking confirmations, reminders, and internal marketing (should you opt-in). Your data will never be sold to third parties.
